ICLA Youth Program

The ICLA will pay any 4-H or FFA member that wins an OVER-ALL Grand Champion Market lamb at a County Fair in the US $50.00 PROVIDED the lamb was purchased from a current ICLA member.  The award of $25 will be paid to any 4-H or FFA member that wins an OVER-ALL Reserve Grand Champion Market lamb at a County Fair in the US PROVIDED the lamb was purchased from a current ICLA member.

 

The same program will be applied to COMMERCIAL EWE LAMBS with the EXCEPTION of the Grand Champion will receive $25 and the Reserve Grand Champion will receive $12.50

 

The following rules apply: 1.  Only 1 county fair winner per lamb will be paid. 2.  Lamb must be verified by the producer (ICLA member).  3.  Winner must provide name, address, phone number, county fair won, and a picture of the lamb and person for our website. 4  Send all materials to ICLA Box 43, Keota, Iowa  52248 or email to dupat@cloudburst9.net 5.  Cut-off will be December 1 each year for payments.

The ICLA will pay a STATE FAIR or NATIONAL QUALIFING SHOW, Grand Champion Market Lamb OVER-ALL $200.  The Reserve Grand Champion will receive $100.  Same rules as above apply.  THIS WILL ONLY BE FOR MARKET LAMBS.  Commercial ewes are not eligible for this award.
