To clarify for everyone, any ewe lamb an exhibitor would like to show in the Market Ewe Lamb
Show
at the State Fair, must be tattooed at one of the regional weigh-ins.
A copy of the nomination form will be required at time of weigh-in.

MARKET EWE LAMB SHOW

Thursday, August 11th at 6:00 pm
Entries made day of weigh
- Each ewe lamb can only be exhibited once.
- Age limit 5 to 19 years of age. ( upper age based on State Fair Jr. show rules)
- Ewes will be shown by Breed-Broken into classes by weight. 5 lambs will establish a breed.
- Must be slick shorn 48 hours of show. (All junior exhibitor and wether rules apply).
- Must be tattooed in with the wethers in the spring with a box E in accordance to the same rule as wethers, accept they do not have to make rate of gain.
- There will be a $15.00 entry fee and all entries will be made on day of weigh. The show will be a jackpot show, with 100% pay back, Champion $200, Reserve Champion $100, Breed Champion $50, Reserve Breed Champion $25.
- Entries must be made day of weigh, do not send entries to the State Fair office.
