Barnett Club Lambs

Barnett Club Lambs

The genetics of the Barnett flock is currently based on ewes and bucks from Mike Hancock of Kentucky. The success of Hancock sheep should speak for itself. Mike's sheep have dominated the Hampshire breed through the midwest as well as experiencing a great deal of success in many of the major shows in the southwest. Past winners of Barnett Club Lambs include grand champion of the Indiana State Fair as well as several other breed champions at the Indiana State Fair and the NAILE in Louisville, Kentucky.

First Class (Hancock 4167)
Miller 702 x Stopwatch

A combination buck not only in terms of his rare genetic profile, but visually a sheep that is quite extreme in his look. "First Class" is very immature in his rib shape and design through his front end. Just as impressive he is unbelievably long sided and still athletic in his movement.

2003 KEEPER EWE LAMBS
FOR THE BARNETT FLOCK!

Barnett Club lambs leased this buck lamb (3042) from
Mike Hancock for some of their 2004 lamb crop.
He is Miller on the sire side and out of a 31 daughter.
He has alot of eye appeal and is a very complete sheep.

Our recently purchased Time Again ram.

I purchased this ram jointly with Kouns Club Lambs of Indiana. This ram is sired by Jim Miller's  Prime Time ram and his dam is Time's mother.    This great Miller ewe died recently after 15 years of producing numerous stud bucks and keeper ewe lambs for the Miller family.  We are anxiously awaiting our first lamb crop from this proven sire.  Lambs will be born out of him beginning in January.

"2115"

We leased this exciting buck lamb from Mike Hancock of KY.
He was bred to several of the yearlings
below and our top brood ewes.

Come see his lambs in 2003.

Hancock 9086
Out of Cabaniss 076 (Stopwatch) and a daughter of Cabaniss 031. This ram's twin brother is the Rupp ram that Mike used this year. All of the lambs on the web site are out of Hancock 9086.

All of these yearlings were raised by Barnett's, out of the ram (9086) pictured above. They are Hancock on sire and dam side. This is an exciting group of yearlings that will have their first lamb crop in 2003.
