This ram was leased from High Hill Farm (Jerry Hensler) & Kent Hambleton for our 2008 lamb crop. “56” is the twin brother to “57” which Kent Langemeier now owns. “Tex” is the $17,500 from DeSpain Purchased from Jim Miller. “56” has been bred to over 100 ewes. “Grand Slam” sired the Grand Champion Wether at the 2004 Nebraska State Fair and many county fair grand and reserves. He is a complete, correct, ram with exceptional bone and sound on his feet and legs. He was first owned by Kent Langmeier and Kent purchased him privately from Jason Wattonville. Dick Horner of Illinois purchased him and we now own ½ interest in this great from with Dick. See our web site for a picture.

The “Bodacious” daughter was undefeated as a show ewe lamb. “Tricky” had seen service to several of Kent Langemeier’s satellite flocks. We purchased this ram from Kent this summer and we got “Tricky’ bred a very small group of ewes.

We used this ram as a lamb and have retained several daughters.. He is now at Wattonville of IA and has already made a name for himself. He has produced many winning wethers and ewe lambs. He sired the $10,000 ram of Wattonville at the 2003 Corp I Sale and he sired the supreme champion wether at the 2003 Mid West Stud Ram Sale. Power packed genetics! Another stud ram which has had an impact on the industry! BT-268 is sired by “Big Time” a “Bodacious” son and is dammed by Harms R68 which goes back to a ram we used of Keene Newby. Drudik of NE purchased a $6750 ram lamb out of R68. “CD’s” twin sister, G17, produced our $2600 ram which was purchased by Keith Berry at the 2003 Mid West Stud Ram Sale.

Wether Sire Sale. He has produced many Grand and Reserve Grand Wethers. A daughter
Dammed the Reserve Grand Champion Wether at the 2005 IL State Fair Jr. Show. This
ewe family has produced a lot of meat and muscle with super hides.

“RE-Load” is strong, straight down his top, with a high tail set and is pretty on the move. He is extremely thin hided and has that extra hardness to the touch. Several daughters sell.

He is the sire of the Grand Champion wether at the 2003 Denver Livestock Show and grandsire of the champion Hamp at the 2003 N.A.I.L.E. “Slam Dunk” has the great Cabiness 801 4 times in his extended pedigree. Twice on the top-side and twice on the bottom-side. The great grandmother of this ram is the mother to the Grand Lamb at the 1992 Kansas City Royal, that many people still talk about today. Several daughters sell!

“Starbuck” is the twin brother to Harms 2000. Harms 2000 is now at stud for Hindman’s of IA, Harms 2000 sired the Grand Champion Wether at the 2003 Indiana State Fair, bred by Hindman. “Starbuck” sired the Supreme Champion Ram, “Matrix” at the 2003 Mid West Stud Ram Sale for McIlrath/Wattonville. “Starbuck” and Harms 2000 have made a major impact on the club lamb industry over the last 5 years, not only with their genetics but also for the financial benefit to the breeders using them!

Super big, long, tall, extended ram. We have an excellent set of daughters we are putting back into the flock. Harms BS-79 is out of our great “Snake” 89 ewe and is a maternal ½ sister to “Faith” the mother of “Profile”. “Giant’s” daughters will be bred to “Slam Dunk” and “RE-Load”. “Giant” has been sold to Aaron Shultz of Donnelson, IA. Call Aaron when you need to add scale, length and style to your flock.

Great power filled ram with bone and substance that is lacking in most of the “blue” club lambs. We used him as a lamb and have retained 95% of all of his daughters. He has been sold to Luther Show Lambs of Colby, WI. When you need to add power, bone and substance to your flock contact the Luthers. In 2005 Luthers’ had many county fair Grands, Reserve Grand and class winners at the WI State Fair.

Not completely sure of the breeding on this ram as he was leased from Keene Newby of IA for one breeding season and he has had an exceptional impact on our breeding. He was the seed foundation for our “CD” family.

We purchased this ram from Herrel/Rhodes at the Mid West Stud Ram Sale. He produces powerfully strong females. Many of our high selling rams have been out of “Big Time” daughters. He is a son of the $2300 ewe that Kevin sold at the 2002 Premier Bred Ewe Sale.

Purchased privately from Alan McCune. He is the sire of Harms 2000 and “Starbuck”, Harms 2001. Harms 2000 and Harms 2001, ie “Starbuck”, have had a tremendous influence on the club lamb industry, not only for the breeding programs of Sam & Harold McIlrath, Jason & Sarah Wattonville, Scott & Shelly Smitz, Butch Altemeier, Mike Hindman, Alan McCune, but for every breeding program that they sold rams and ewes to.

We leased this ram as a lamb to the Howell’s of OH, then we used him for late lambs. He was sold as a yearling to Cal Poly, CA. They have been very successful in the show ring with his lambs. Dam is mother to our $6700 lamb that sold to Drudik’s of NE at the 2000 MWSRS. Goes back to the “CD” family.
