| HELLO HOWARD FAMILY, HERE IS AN UPDATE ON THE 2 EWES THAT WE PURCHASED THE PAST 2 YEARS FROM YOU. BRANDI DID ONE PLACE BETTER THEN LAST YEAR AND WAS CHAMPION SOUTHDOWN EWE AT THIS YEARS INDIANA STATE FAIR. "WHAT A FEELING" KAYLEA SAID WHEN WE WERE GETTING PICTURES, "THAT SHE HAS NEVER HAD AND DOESN'T WANT TO END". KAYLEA RECEIVED A CHAIR FOR SENIOR CHAMPION, A CREAM COLORED WOOL BLANKET WITH GOLD LETTERING AND $250.00 FOR CHAMPION. THANKS AGAIN FOR ALLOWING US TO PURCHASE SUCH A HIGH QUALITY EWE LAST YEAR. SHE WAS ALSO SUPREME EWE OVER ALL BREEDS AT THE CONVERSE FAIR AND CHAMPAIGN COUNTY FAIR LAST MONTH, AS WELL AS SECOND AT THE 2010 ALL AMERICAN. SALLY ALSO DID VERY WELL AND WAS FIRST PLACE IN THE LATE FEBRUARY-EARLY MARCH CLASS AT THE STATE FAIR. THANKS AGAIN, TONY STANLEY |

~ Just wanted
to drop you a line to let you know we took 2 of the ewe lambs we
purchased in Sept. to the San Angelo Livestock Show and Rodeo
this week. The Southdown ewe lambs were 1st and 2nd. 1st pair
of ewe lambs and Reserve Champion Ewe. The ram was 1st aged ram
and Grand Champion Southdown ram. An exciting day for our
family for sure! Hope to be sending more great results in the
near future. Thanks again for the chance to improve our flock.

~ Darrell and
Family,
I have to Thank
you all for making our purchase of a ram from you such a nice
experience. The ram held true to what we had asked for and
produced what we needed to change in our sheep as you had
predicted. I have to tell you that each encounter with you was
warm and friendly and we truly felt that our purchase and
happiness with it mattered to you. To further better our
experience you helped to market the ram and repaid us as agreed
with half of his sale price with documentation to prove such. I
just cannot say how many times Andrew and I have had
conversations about how happy we have been with our purchase and
your support. We have a nice flock coming along and look
forward to making further gains in our breeding program, part of
which willl surely be the purchase of another ram from you all
in the future. We still hope to make the trip your way and if
all goes well, it may be as soon as this spring.
Warm regards, |

~ Hello Howard
Family, The buck we bought from you last at Reno, reserve champion ram, has been a great investment. There isn't a bad lamb out of him. Our only problem was he didn't figure out what he was doing until late Oct. and our lambs didn't start hitting the ground until after the first of March. We love everyone of them though, and I can honestly say he is a changer buck. He has left his imprint on everyone of the lambs. Our ewes are pretty average but all the lambs have a whole lot of extension and length of body just like him. Also, they have his attitude, laid back and curious. The first ewe lamb we had has become a pest and nibbles at your clothes whenever you try to feed or work the sheep. We have never had lambs so calm, and are definitely the best lambs we've ever had. We are going to show a few of them, but we might need to take a nurse ewe along. I can honestly say your genetics really work with our ewe base.
Thanks bunches, |
